Real sites render closer to the reference browser
A website rendering release with 14 changes, each checked against the reference browser: pages behind bot checks load, frames keep their own security policy, and backgrounds, table cells and line boxes measure the way the reference measures them.
Pages behind bot checks load
Several large sites put a script check in front of the page. Floati failed three of them: the window did not describe navigator, document and its other members the way the reference does, frames got incomplete built-ins, and our version string was so old that a sports site sent a challenge instead of the page. All three are fixed, and a frame's security policy no longer leaks onto the page that embeds it.
Layout and paint closer to the reference

Each fix started from a page that looked wrong, was cut down to a few lines, measured in the reference browser and written as a test with its numbers: layered backgrounds keep their image, scaled elements scale their background, table cells centre, flex lists take their baseline from their text, and images sit on lines without a stray gap.
News cards stop drifting down the page

Two small errors added up on a news broadcaster's front page. Each card picture had 3px of stray space under it, because a line with zero line height still kept room for text, and a navigation bar built from a flex list stood 1px taller than in the reference. Card after card, the page slid further down. Both now measure as the reference measures them.
